Overview
Koilabas Border Crossing in the Dang district of Lumbini Province is one of the oldest trade centers between Nepal and India. This border point had lost its glory after the construction of the East – West Mahendra highway in the 1960s. This border point is expected to gain momentum after the provincial capital of Lumbini is shifted to Deukhuri. The Indian side has also opened a customs office in Jarwa.
