Overview
This border crossing is on Nepal’s southern border with India across from Barhani Bazar. The movement of Indian and Nepalese nationals across the border is unrestricted; however, there is a customs checkpoint for goods. Goods bound for Dang and Arghakhanchi cross here. Krishnanagar connects by road to the east–west Mahendra Highway. There are two routes from the border point: to Butwal and to Bhairahawa. The roads are good but single lane in places. There are four small customs offices under this office at Bhilmi, Hariharpur Kushhawa and Hardauna.
