Les Grands Moulin du Faso (GMF) and La Minoterie de l’Orient (MINOR) which belong to the Group Hajjar own the main millings in country. Then, during the last decade, the national milling market has grown up with the arriving of new actors like Les Moulins du Sahel Burkina Faso (MDS BF SA) or Agroserv Industrie. They invested in modern plants with larges units of production including storage capacities and internal laboratories of analysis. All those units of production are contributing to meet the population needs and to reduce the flour imports from Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana or Togo.
